Metric Group Ltd is a responsible and respected British Company with over forty years experience within the Parking Industry (over 100 years designing and producing ticket issuing machines for bus, train and revenue controls) and manufacture and maintain to a consistently high standard. Our aim is to provide a service which will allow the parking operator to concentrate on their core business of enforcement and control, whilst we maintain and care for the equipment infrastructure.

Metric’s philosophy is simple

We aim to produce quality products and provide a first class service to the parking industry, concentrating on developing parking solutions and services to our customers that will result in long-term partnerships.


How it works: -

Metric Plus
  1. Metric supply and install the equipment to the parking operators specification.
  2. The machine(s) is then linked back to our Headquarters and monitored by the Service Department. All machines send information via mobile phone technology (GPRS) the moment an alert state is generated.
     
  3. On receiving an alert which requires our attention, i.e. tickets low. The service desk will schedule a task for the nearest engineer. All engineers have a mobile device installed in their vehicle which schedules workload and tracks and updates inventory
     
  4. On completion of the task the engineer verifies this electronically and an email is sent directly to the customer, informing them of the time and date of completion with any appropriate notes.
     
     
  5. The customer has their own personal web service (Web ASLAN) which hosts their machine data. This site is used for generating reports, auditing machine revenue and monitoring machine performance.
