How it works

Using Metric Mobile is a simple process. There is no expensive technology for you to invest in or administrative upheaval. The motorist has a simple choice; either use the payment machine or pay for their parking on their mobile phone simply and quickly. To use Metric Mobile they call, quote the parking zone reference and confirm their length of stay.

 

They can even extend or top up their parking time without returning back to the car. The operator or parking enforcement staff receive the details of the transaction in real-time to hand held terminals enabling them to check vehicles within the parking zone in an instant.

 

Reporting made easier via Web ASLAN

Parking operators will find it significantly easier to access management reports and will be able to analyse parking statistics and data like never before. Reports can be set up to run on any parameters you choose within the system; daily or weekly to meet your reporting needs, existing Metric users will have integration benefits and single audit trail facilities.

Flexible options

Metric Mobile offers ‘same space different user’, a concept which allows visitors, residents, carers, business users and shoppers to park in the same space but be charged at different rates based on their status, for example, free for residents or full rate for shoppers.

 

You can also change the parameters of a parking bay, for example, the price of parking on a Saturday is changed to encourage shoppers, or bays can be suspended instantly as required for building work, etc.
