ALERT
At the heart of ASLAN lies Alert. An easy to use graphical interface enables system configuration, management and monitoring all to be performed. This central component transmits data to and from the parking machines, providing status updates to connected workstations. Alerts real time 'event' monitoring allows users to respond accordingly with the additional enhancements of pager and SMS messaging functions.
STATS
The underlying technology of ASLAN is an SQL data-base,offering scaleable solutions for pay and display machine data. This enables many users to have simultaneous access to the data for the generation of reports which can in turn be configured to suit customer requirements. Using Microsoft Excel as the default template, reports generated provide flexibility, ease of use and integration with customer processes.
PSION
For those with only a few machines and no need for a networked solution, there is the PSION handheld solution. Data is transferred to and from pay anddisplay machines using a handheld device, providing the full reporting facilities in the office.
SPACE NETWORK
The most recent addition to the ASLAN suite is Metric's Space Network solution. Car park users purchase time against a parking space with the ability to top-up additional time at other networked pay and display machines. Spaceinformation is transmitted to the central computer at heartbeat intervals providing the car park operator with up to date information on each space. When combined with the Skeye Pad unit, mobile staff have this information immediately at their finger-tips,which avoids the need to return to the office or interrogate the pay and display machines.
