VivoPark&Ride brings together cutting edge Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) from Ranger Services with the most flexible, comprehensive payment terminal available today, the METRIC Elite LS, to provide a smart car parking system for Park and Ride facilities.
VivoPark&Ride allows your customer to select the service they require – Park&Ride, Park Only or Ride Only. The system has the added benefit of allowing customers to create an online account to manage their parking – from purchasing a season ticket to making a late payment.
Park and Ride
Customers park their car and purchase a ticket at the Elite LS terminal to allow them to ride the bus.
Park Only
Customers park their car and purchase a parking ticket at the Elite LS terminal, no need to display the ticket as their details are captured by the ANPR system.
Ride Only
Customers arrive at the site by bike or foot and purchase a bus ticket at the Elite LS terminal.

Number Plate Recognition

The METRIC Elite LS handles all payment method including contactless for quick, smooth transactions. The large HD colour screen allows customers to complete their transaction easily.
VivoPark&Ride in practice
Essex County Council put together this animated video explaining to customers how their new Park and Ride System. The video visually guides the customer on how to use the Elite LS to select from one of the three options available: Park and Ride, Park only or Ride Only.
The straightforward and clear instructions include how to use the Elite LS alphanumeric keypad and user interface buttons to search and select the customer’s vehicle as well as making payments via cash or card.
