We are delighted to welcome Ajay to Metric Group, where he joins us with an impressive career spanning transport, infrastructure, outdoor media and parking.
Ajay began his career at Transport for London, contributing to several key projects, including the iconic Countdown real-time bus information system. From there, he built an extensive background in passenger infrastructure and outdoor media, working with both JCDecaux UK and Clear Channel to secure street furniture and out-of-home media contracts with local authorities and landlords across the UK.
His move into the parking industry proved to be a natural progression, combining his wealth of public sector experience with a passion for smart mobility solutions. Although he briefly explored the traffic data sector, the parking industry continued to call him back.
As Ajay puts it:
“Parking felt like ‘home’ and, by joining Metric Group, I feel like I am back home. I look forward to seeing many familiar faces and meeting plenty of new ones too.”
