Established in 1935, The Institute of Export & International Trade (IOE&IT) is a professional membership body representing and supporting the interests of everyone involved in importing, exporting, and international trade.
As Metric enter new international markets and increase our exportation of products to a wider global reach, with the UK now outside of the EU Customs Union and a UK-EU co-operation deal signed we recognize that as a business trading internationally we require the following; Access to the latest developments in international trade, best practice advice, and help and support for all international opportunities that become available to us.
The Institute of Export & International Trade’s mission is to enhance the performance of importers and exporters by setting and maintaining professional standards in international trade. This is done by providing Ofqual-approved qualifications and training courses, face-to-face and online, as well as one-to-one consultation.
Our immediate aim is for our distributors overseas to see an improved export/import process and to achieve this we need a clear insight into the new legislations, procedures, and regulations that are now compulsory for our business. This will ultimately help us improve our lines of trade and communication and lead us to enabling an enhanced and seamless B2B service for our international partners.
