March was a busy time at Metric, as we finalised preparations for our first major exhibition since the pandemic with the return of Intertraffic 2022. Intertraffic itself (normally every 2 years) had not happened in 2020, so its been 4 years since Metric had exhibited at the International Traffic Management Exhibition – Intertraffic.
We knew that we needed to bring our ‘A’ game to this event, and so we took the largest support team ever, and introduced new products including the Micro Payment Terminal and our EV charging solutions.
Intertraffic had also changed and had re-organised how companies were grouped across the 13 or so exhibition halls, so we now found ourselves directly opposite a competitor.
With many distributors and customers booked to visit the stand, we are thrilled to report that the Micro Payment terminal and EV chargers were an incredibly popular talking point, with many demonstrations given as we explained how these could be integrated with parking systems and for a complete parking and charging solution.
It was a great opportunity to see and speak with partners from around the world, that we had not been able to see since the previous Intertraffic event, and so on evening of day 2, we held a Metric Distributors dinner at an Amsterdam restaurant. Managing Director Chis Wortley, had previously worked in Amsterdam and recommended we try this restaurant for a memorable and special evening meal. As you can see from the photos, it certainly was a great venue and a very special event.
